Becky Jordan is registered with the Yoga Alliance as an ERYT 500, is a Certified Ayurveda Yoga Therapist, a Certified Professional Yoga Therapist, is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, President of the Greater Mercy Foundation (a non-profit bringing yoga to schools and those facing financial hardships), and an Essential Oils educator. She has over 22 years’ experience as a Yoga Teacher and has been practicing yoga since the early '70s. She began training yoga teachers in the late 90s while she was managing The Yoga Institute in Houston, one of the largest and oldest yoga studios in the US. In 2006 Becky co-founded Sacred Art Yoga Teacher Training Program and in 2008 opened Heart of Texas Yoga, the first full time yoga studio in Wimberley, Texas. Known for her easy going, warm, funny, compassionate, and caring approach to teaching, Becky’s passion is to help others find greater health and happiness in their bodies, hearts and minds.
After years of traveling extensively to teach, Becky is now focusing on teaching in the Texas Hill Country, closer to home, with occasional trips away. Being home in the Texas Hills with her husband Greg and their family of animals while sharing her love of Yoga, Ayurveda and Essential Oils is a dream come true.
